SWEET MOTHER OF ALL THAT IS HOLY CHECK OUT THAT MULLET. MOM WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THAT?!
So on June 30th, I turned 29. I also happened to spend my birthday in Providence (which by the way is a awesome little city) attending the Perform Better Summit listening to the fitness industry’s top minds talk about fitness, business, growth, and life in general.
Now, I am by no means a top mind in the fitness industry… faaar from it. However, I have been coaching and training clients for almost 9 years now, so I feel like I have at least a little bit to offer in terms of valuable info and dare I say… wisdom.
Last year I did something similar to this and wrote about 28 lessons I had learned over 28 years of life. I enjoyed writing it, but this year I’m gonna switch it up and keep things very short and very sweet.
In 29 words (for 29 years old, I’M SO CREATIVE), here are the biggest takeaways that life has thrown at me in the last year (and not necessarily in a coherent fashion).
“Take risks. Bet on yourself. Time is your most valuable asset. If your daily habits don’t match your goals, get new goals. Get better sleep. Nobody cares, work harder.”
Take that home with you, chew it, let it marinate, and interpret it however you want. Hopefully it means something to you guys.
So here’s to another years worth of life lessons… and my last year in my twenties.
